A direct fire 12 gauge round which fires an aerodynamic, liquid filled, impact projectile with marking capabilities and behavior modification. This round was designed for single target engagement allowing escalation of force from a close distance prior to use of lethal means. Once the target is hit they are marked with the Orange UV Dye. The dye can be washed off but will still be detected in Black UV Light. The HYDRO-KINETIC IMPACT PROJECTILE was developed to overcome the shortcomings of conventional bean bag ammunition. Fired from 6 feet to 25 feet the HYDRO-KINETIC IMPACT PROJECTILE produces a very painful stinging effect while reducing the chance of penetration to virtually none.With most conventional bean bag ammunition fired at distances closer than 21 feet there is a potential of penetration factor. The HYDRO-KINETIC IMPACT PROJECTILE was developed for close range urban environment situations where penetration issues prevent an officer from using conventional bean bag ammunition.
